North Belfast Colts U12s  3  Northend United U12s  0                                      Saturday 17th December

In a match played in atrocious conditions and on a poor pitch Northend never got into this game until the second-half. Northend should have gone in-front after they made their way into North Belfast's eighteen yard box and the ball was played back to James O'Loughlin who struck the ball well only to see it fly wide of the post. North Belfast then scored three quick goals just before half-time.

In a better second-half Northend played some great football but just could not find the back of the net and to make matters worse Northend then lost three players to injuries and played out the rest of the game with ten players.

Northend United U12s  2  Antrim Rovers U12s  3                                             Friday 2nd December 2011

This result was a real kick in the teeth after United put in a brilliant second-half performance to come back from two goals down. Northend fell behind as early as the first minute when a Northend player went to clear the ball only see it strike one of his own players and fly into his own net and then Antrim scored a great goal to put them two up before Kuba Babuszewski pulled one back just before half-time. Half time score 2-1

Northend took control of the second half and drew level when Kuba cut in from the left hand side and squared the bal lto Graham McCartney to slot home and Northend should of scored more but held onto the ball to long allowing the Rovers players to get back to block there shots. As time ticked away Rovers played a long ball into the far corner and when a Northend player cleared the ball it fell to a Antrim player you shot first time into the top of the United goal. Northend took their centre and went straight on the attack and when Brandon Millar crossed the ball into the Antrim box it fell to James Hayburn who controlled the ball and shot at goal only to see it go wide and then the referee blew the whistle for full-time. Northend players should be proud of their performance and shows that they are never beaten until the final whistle.

Loughside U12s  0  Northend United U12s  2                                                       Saturday 19th November 2011

Northend U12s made the long journey to Belfast on Monday night and came away with all the points with a great second half performance. In the first half the game was even with Northend having the better of the chances with Jordan Adams and Jamie Stevenson missing good chances and Josh Mark in goal dealing well with anything Loughside throw at him. The score remained 0-0 at half-time.

Northend upped the pace in the second-half and with the Northend defence determined not to let any Loughside players past them leaving Mark in goal with very little to do.

Northend made the breakthrough when James Hayburn came on into the frontline role and forced the Loughside keeper into a save and on his second attempt the keeper was picking the ball out of the net when his shot from the edge of the box flew over the keeper and into the top of the net. For the second goal he was involved again when James O'Loughlin took a quick throw in and Daniel Bell pushed the ball onto Hayburn who crossed to the back post were Jamie Stevenson was on hand to knock in to finish Loughside off.
